Melissa Evans Portfolio & Photoshop Tutorials

Melissa’s personal art portfolio first went online in 2003, then named MelissaClifton.com. Over the years the traffic grew and grew as Melissa added more of her popular Photoshop tutorials.

A dramatic redesign was done in 2010, switching the old php site to WordPress. The url also was updated to MelissaEvans.com, her married name.

The new design is stark and spacious. With the lack of lots of saturated colours competing for your attention, the viewer’s eye finds it easier to focus on what is important.

In the new improved portfolio display, the images float on top of the web page utilising a LightBox effect. The NextGEN Gallery Plugin for WordPress has the benefit of auto-creation of thumbnails and a faster, user-friendly display of images.
